In Texas Hold’em, each player is dealt two private cards (known as hole cards), and over several betting rounds, five community cards are dealt face-up in the middle of the table. Players use these community cards in combination with their hole cards to create the best five-card poker hand. The game consists of four betting rounds: pre-flop, flop, turn, and river. The player with the best hand or the one who forces all others to fold wins the pot.
Texas Hold’em Example
For example, if you are dealt two aces (a pair of aces) and the community cards include three other lower-ranked cards, you have a high chance of winning with a strong pair. However, the outcome depends on how other players bet and play their hands throughout the game.
