Spot [Meaning] - MasterTerms.com

Spot

A Spot refers to the number of selections a player makes on their Keno ticket. In Keno, players choose a set number of numbers, typically ranging from 1 to 15, from a larger pool of numbers, usually 1 to 80.

The Spot determines the type of bet and the potential payouts. For instance, if a player chooses three numbers (a “3 Spot” ticket), they will win based on how many of their selected numbers are drawn. The more numbers selected, the higher the potential payout, but the difficulty of matching those numbers also increases.

Spot Example

For example, if a player selects a 4 Spot ticket and chooses the numbers 5, 12, 23, and 34, they will win if any combination of those numbers is drawn in the Keno game. If all four numbers are drawn, they win the maximum payout for that ticket.
