Natural Hand [Meaning] - MasterTerms.com

Natural Hand

A Natural Hand is a term used in Baccarat to refer to the highest possible hand value of 8 or 9.

In Baccarat, a Natural Hand occurs when the first two cards dealt to a player or banker total either 8 or 9. If either the player or banker achieves this hand, no further cards are drawn, and the round concludes immediately. This hand is significant because it is considered the strongest and can result in a win if the opponent has a lower hand value.

Natural Hand Example

For example, if a player is dealt a 5 and a 3, their total is 8, which is a Natural Hand. If the banker has a total of 7, the player wins the round with their Natural Hand of 8.
