Front Line [Meaning] - MasterTerms.com

Front Line

The Front Line is a betting option in Craps that allows players to wager on the outcome of the come-out roll.

When a player places a bet on the Front Line, they are essentially betting that the shooter will roll a 7 or 11 on the come-out roll, which results in an immediate win. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3, or 12, the bet loses. If any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) is rolled, that number becomes the “point.” The goal then shifts to rolling the point number again before a 7 is rolled to win the bet.

Front Line Example

For example, a player bets $10 on the Front Line. If the shooter rolls an 11 on the come-out roll, the player wins $10. If the shooter rolls a 5, the point is set to 5, and the player will win if a 5 is rolled again before a 7.
