Dozen Bet [Meaning] - MasterTerms.com

Dozen Bet

A Dozen Bet in Roulette is a wager that allows players to bet on one of three groups of twelve numbers.

The Dozen Bet is a type of outside bet in Roulette where players can choose to place their chips on one of three sets of twelve numbers: the first dozen (1-12), the second dozen (13-24), or the third dozen (25-36). When a player makes a Dozen Bet, they are essentially betting that the winning number will fall within their chosen set of twelve. If the ball lands on a number within that range, the player wins at odds of 2 to 1, meaning they receive two times their wager in profit, in addition to their original stake.

Dozen Bet Example

For example, if a player bets $10 on the second dozen (13-24) and the ball lands on 18, the player wins $20 in profit, plus their original $10 stake back, totaling $30.
