Craps

Craps is a popular dice game often played in casinos, where players bet on the outcome of the roll or a series of rolls of two six-sided dice.

In Craps, players place bets on the table before the dice are rolled. The game starts with a “come-out” roll, where the shooter (the player rolling the dice) aims to establish a point by rolling a specific number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10). If the shooter rolls a 7 or 11, it’s a win for pass line bets, while rolling a 2, 3, or 12 results in a loss. If a point is established, the shooter continues to roll until they either roll the point number again to win or roll a 7 to lose.

Craps Example

For example, if the shooter rolls a 7 on their come-out roll, all pass line bets win, while if they roll a 2, players who bet on the pass line lose their wagers. If the point is set as 6 and the shooter rolls a 6 again before rolling a 7, those who bet on the pass line win.
