In Blackjack, players compete against the dealer, and each player is dealt two cards, with the option to take additional cards (hits) or keep their current hand (stand). The value of the cards is determined by their face value, with aces worth either one or eleven points, and face cards (kings, queens, and jacks) worth ten points. The player wins if their hand exceeds the dealer’s hand without going over 21, or if the dealer busts by exceeding 21.
Blackjack Example
For example, if a player is dealt a 10 and a 7, their hand value is 17. If the dealer has a hand value of 16 and draws another card, which results in a bust (a hand value of over 21), the player wins the round.
