Bingo Board [Meaning] - MasterTerms.com

Bingo Board

A Bingo Board is a grid where players mark their selected numbers as they are called out during a game of Bingo. The board typically consists of a 5×5 grid containing randomly assigned numbers, with the center square often designated as a free space. Players win by completing a specified pattern, such as a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, by marking the corresponding numbers on their board.

In a Bingo game, each player receives a Bingo Board filled with different numbers within a specified range, usually from 1 to 75 or 1 to 90, depending on the version of the game being played. As the host randomly draws numbers from a pool, players will mark those numbers on their boards. The objective is to achieve a winning pattern, which can vary based on the specific rules of the game, including variations like four corners, full house, or specific shapes.

Bingo Board Example

For example, if a player has a Bingo Board where the numbers 5, 12, 23, and 34 are called out, and those numbers are present on their board, they would mark them off. If they then complete a line of five marked numbers either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, they would shout “Bingo!” to indicate they have won.
