Betting Right

Betting Right: A betting strategy in Craps where players wager on the outcome of the dice roll coming up as a winner.

In Craps, Betting Right refers specifically to wagering on the “Pass Line” or “Come” bets, which are favorable bets for the player. When you place a bet on the Pass Line before the come-out roll, you win if the shooter rolls a 7 or 11 and lose if they roll a 2, 3, or 12. If a point is established (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10), your bet remains active until the shooter either rolls that point again to win or rolls a 7 to lose. This strategy allows players to take advantage of the odds in their favor when betting on winning outcomes.

Betting Right Example

For example, if you place a $10 bet on the Pass Line before the shooter rolls and they roll a 7 on the come-out roll, you win the bet and receive a payout of $10, doubling your initial stake.
